Four Months Old!
Elizabeth (the Bee), you are four months old today.
You are amazing. Daddy and I marvel at much you have grown in the last four weeks. Your awareness of the world around you is growing every day. You identify Mommy and Daddy now and greet us with smiles in the morning.
Mommy joined a library group with you that meets at Sandwich library on Tuesday mornings. We read, sing songs, dance, play with toys and talk. You are one of the youngest babies in the group and you love to sit back and watch the other children play. Don't worry little Bee, you will be joining them soon enough! You already show signs of getting ready to crawl. During tummy time you push your knees into the mat and raise yourself up on your elbows. You also lift your head now and reach for the toys hanging above you. You really like to grab and have something in your hands at all times. When Mommy is nursing you, you like to get a handful of Mommy's shirt. Your stuffed taggies doll is one of your favorite things to play with.
Cooing and babbling happens every once in a while. I think you would rather observe the world and take it all in then talk about it. I have no doubt you will be chatting away in your own little language in no time.
Mommy's favorite thing is your smile. Your smile lights up the whole world. You have belly laughed a few times and it's simply the best sound ever. Daddy blows raspberries on your tummy to get you to giggle. You love your Daddy very much.
We are very blessed to have you in our lives. You make our family complete and whole. We love you so much, BeeBee.
